This Privacy Policy describes how LQ Maker (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use lowqualityimagemaker.net and related pages (the “Service”).
1. Image processing (important)
The core image tools run entirely in your browser using client-side technology (such as the Canvas API). Images you select for editing are processed locally on your device for the purpose of generating a preview and download. We do not operate a server-side upload pipeline that receives your image files for processing.
2. Information we may collect
- Usage analytics (optional / when enabled): If Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is configured on the site, we may collect aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location derived by the analytics provider, device/browser type, and events like button clicks related to tool usage. We intend to enable IP anonymization where supported.
- Server / hosting logs: Our hosting or CDN provider may automatically log technical data (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps) as part of normal security and reliability operations.
- Advertising (if enabled later): If we display ads (for example Google AdSense), advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies.
3. Cookies
Analytics and advertising partners may set cookies or local storage items when those features are active. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit some site functionality for third-party features, but the local image tool itself does not require an account or login cookies.

5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting/CDN) and analytics/advertising vendors solely to run the Service, subject to their terms.

Because edited images are not uploaded to us for processing, we do not retain your image files. Analytics and log data are retained according to the respective provider settings and operational needs.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International visitors
The Service may be hosted or delivered via providers in different countries. By using the Service, you understand that technical data may be processed in those locations.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
